Coordinate with the Neighbors
Our goal is to inspire as many homes on the street to participate as possible. Immediately, we are faced with countless conflicting schedules. Kerri and Ronnie handle the door knocking and gather information from all the neighbors who are interested and coordinate with everyone individually as to make this as painless as possible for all involved.
Visibility
Even if every home on the street has a beautiful boutique shop on their front lawn fully equipped with tables overflowing with little treasures, racks of quality clothing, and well-kept furniture eager to find a new home, this all means nothing if the treasure hunters don’t know where we are! We know all the local yard/garage sale hunting websites, Facebook groups, and apps to ensure everyone knows how to find us.
Signage
Yes, the internet is king, but it’s hard to beat the classic feel and nostalgic touch of a yard sale sign hanging on a telephone pole. We walk the neighborhood and place signs with a QR code that gives everyone the details of the yard sale like date, time, locations, and how many homes will be participating. Some well-placed street signs the day of the event also helps those Sunday drivers find themselves browsing your inventory.
Price Tags
Sorting through the boxes in the attic, basement, garage, and that closet you never open is hard enough. Let us take one item off your plate, price tags. We’ve got a ton of them, please use them free of charge.
Wisdom
Kerri has been attending yard sales, flea markets, estate sales, you name it for many years for her own personal pleasure, but also for staging homes in the area and Ronnie’s Real Estate company, Unlock Real Estate. With all this experience, we can provide help to best set up your shop, bartering/negotiation etiquette, how to price items, and give general guidance on a successful yard sale.
Let us do the heavy lifting
We have the knowledge and network to assist you in shipping and/or helping your buyers have bulky items picked up and delivered into their homes. It’s best to avoid such situations if possible, but it’s definitely good to have this to fall back on.
